Size: 5L

On a yard full of vans, most of the cost of washing is the chemical. Elements Xpert TFR XX is the super-concentrated traffic film remover: the same alkaline detergent and sequestrant chemistry as the standard concentrate, blended to dilute up to 100:1, so a 5L drum makes around 500 litres of working solution and the cost per wash drops accordingly.

Why it works

  • Super-concentrated blend of detergents and sequestrants — dilutes up to 100:1
  • 5L makes roughly 500 litres of ready-to-use solution
  • Runs at 1–2% through pressure wash equipment, so the machine does more with less
  • Sequestrants hold hard-water minerals in solution, so performance holds up in hard water areas
  • Lifts traffic film, oil, grease and general soiling from cars through to heavy commercials
  • Also used for degreasing engines, chassis, components and workshop floors

When to use it

Volume work. A yard of vans on a Friday afternoon, a tipper that has been on a site all week, trailers, plant and the workshop floor afterwards. It is also the right move for anyone washing commercially who is getting through standard TFR faster than they would like — at 100:1 it goes three times as far.

Straight from us

Measure it. At 100:1 the difference between a capful and a good glug is most of what the drum cost you, and free-pouring is exactly why people find a super concentrate lasting no longer than a ready-to-use product. A measuring jug pays for itself on the first drum.

What it won't do

It is not a snow foam and it is not for a coated show car — TFR XX is a strong alkaline cleaner built for commercial work and it will shorten the life of a wax or sealant. Protected paint wants Snow Blast. There is no rinse aid in the blend either; for a streak-free dry across a fleet, TFR CX is the one.

Frequently asked questions

What dilution should I use for TFR XX?
Through pressure wash equipment, draw TFR XX neat and set the machine to between 1% and 2% depending on soiling. For brush application or a premixed machine, Elements Xpert specify up to 100:1 with water.

How far does a 5L of TFR XX go?
At the maximum 100:1 dilution, a 5L drum makes roughly 500 litres of ready-to-use solution.

What is the difference between TFR XX and TFR X?
TFR XX is super concentrated and dilutes up to 100:1. TFR X is the standard concentrate at up to 33:1. TFR XX costs more per drum and less per wash.

Can I use TFR XX to degrease an engine or a workshop floor?
Yes. Elements Xpert list engines, chassis, components and workshop floors alongside vehicle washing. Cover exposed electrics, work on a cool engine and rinse thoroughly.

Directions

1. Wear goggles, gloves and a mask when handling the concentrate.
2. For pressure wash equipment, draw TFR XX neat and set the machine to between 1% and 2% depending on how dirty the vehicle is.
3. For brush application or premixed machines, dilute up to 100:1 with water — measure it rather than free-pouring.
4. Apply from the bottom of the vehicle upwards and let it dwell — do not let it dry on the panel.
5. Agitate heavy soiling with a brush where needed.
6. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
