California Scents Laguna Breeze Spillproof Can Air Freshener

A car shut up through a wet week comes back smelling stale. The California Scents Laguna Breeze Spillproof Can is a solid car air freshener that works while the car sits: a fragrance-oil fibre pad in a small aluminium can with a vented lid. The scent is fresh and clean, with tropical fruit and palm leaves.

Why it works

• Bright without being sugary
• No power, batteries or fan needed
• Turn the vented lid to make it stronger or softer
• Up to 60 days of fragrance, according to California Scents
• Spillproof pad that won't leak into the cup holder

When to use it

Ahead of a summer trip: the run down to the ferry, or a week in Donegal with the car packed to the roof.

Specification

Straight from us

Buying for someone else? Laguna Breeze is the safe choice: fresh enough for most people, and neither too sweet nor too much like aftershave.

What it won't do

It won't hide a dirty car. With wrappers in the door bins and mud in the footwells, the fragrance only sits on top of the smell. Clean out first.

Frequently asked questions

What does Laguna Breeze smell like?
California Scents describe Laguna Breeze as fresh and clean, with tropical fruits and palm leaves. It's lighter than the berry and cherry scents.

Should I get the Laguna Breeze can or the hanging card?
Get the Laguna Breeze can for up to 60 days of adjustable scent, or the Laguna Breeze hanging card to hang it from the mirror for a few weeks.

Where is the best place for the Laguna Breeze can?
The Laguna Breeze can works best in a cup holder or under a front seat, where cabin air moves past it, not in a closed glovebox.
