H2O Magnet Drying Towel 60x90cm

Most water marks happen after the wash, not during it — a chamois dragged over the paint, or a bath towel that pushes water around instead of taking it away. The H2O Magnet is Tenzi's dedicated drying towel: 60 x 90cm of 500 GSM microfibre that pulls water off the panel and holds it, so one or two passes dry a panel instead of five.

Why it works

• 500 GSM microfibre pile absorbs many times its own weight in water
• 60 x 90cm covers a full panel — a roof or bonnet dries in a couple of draws
• Soft pile carries any stray grit away from the paint rather than dragging it

When to use it

At the end of every wash, on rinsed, clean paint. Drape it, draw it slowly across the panel or pat on soft paint, and wring it out as it loads up. Glass, paint and wheels each deserve their own towel.

Drying is where careless washes undo careful ones. Let the towel's weight do the work — no pressure, slow passes — and if you drop it, it goes in the wash basket, not back on the car.

What it won't do

It will not make dirty water safe. Drying a car that was not rinsed properly grinds whatever is left into the paint, whatever towel you use. And at 500 GSM it is a drying towel, not a plush buffing cloth for waxes.

How do I wash a drying towel?
Machine wash warm with liquid detergent and no fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and kills the absorbency. Air dry or tumble on low.

Will it scratch my paint?
Not on a properly rinsed car — the soft pile lifts stray particles away from the surface. On a dirty car, no towel is safe.

Is one towel enough for a full car?
For most hatchbacks and saloons, yes, with a wring-out halfway. For vans and 4x4s, keep a second towel for glass and lower panels.
