SWAG's Lady Hydrophobic Quick Detailer is a liquid polymer sealant in spray form — wipe it on after drying and the paint gains depth, gloss and a genuinely slick feel, with water beading off it instead of sitting on it. It layers over existing waxes and coatings rather than fighting them.

Slickness is not just a feeling — it is the reason this is worth doing. A slick panel releases dirt more easily and gives your wash mitt less to drag, which is the practical way most swirl marks get avoided. Treat the gloss as the bonus and the slip as the point.

What it won't do

It is not a ceramic coating and SWAG publish no durability figure, so do not expect months of protection from it. It will not fill or hide swirls, and it will not clean a dirty car — put it on paint that is already clean or you will grind grit into the finish.

Can I use it over a ceramic coating?
Yes — SWAG position it as supporting existing waxes and coatings rather than replacing them.

Can I use it as a drying aid on a wet car?
SWAG's instructions are for a cool, clean, dry surface. For spraying onto a soaking car at the end of the rinse, use the Hydro Coat or Ceramic Hydro Coat instead.

How long does it last?
SWAG do not publish a durability period, so we are not going to invent one. Realistically a polymer QD is a top-up product — expect weeks, not seasons.

Directions

Apply in a shaded area on a cool, clean surface.
Spray onto an applicator and spread evenly, or spray directly onto the panel and spread with a microfibre cloth.
Wait approximately 1 minute.
Buff the surface with a high-GSM microfibre cloth.
Switch to a fresh cloth if it becomes difficult to buff to a streak-free finish.
Move on to the remaining panels.

Storage: do not freeze. Shake before use. Keep out of direct sunlight and store somewhere cool and dry.
