Lady Alkaline Wheel Cleaner

Brake dust does not come off with shampoo and a sponge. SWAG's Lady Alkaline Wheel Cleaner is a ready-to-use gel that clings to the spoke face instead of running into the barrel, softens baked-on road film and brake dust, and rinses away without you scrubbing at it. The neon pink shows you exactly where you have sprayed, so you stop guessing at coverage on a dark wheel.
Why it works
- Gel consistency, so it stays on vertical spoke faces long enough to work
- Alkaline pH — the sensible middle ground between harsh acids and slow neutral cleaners
- Ready to use, no measuring, no dilution
- Bright pink so you can see your coverage on any wheel colour
- Safe on painted steel and aluminium wheels, and on lacquered polished wheels
- Fruity fragrance rather than the usual chemical stink
When to use it
Every wash if your car is a daily driver, or whenever the wheel face starts to look grey rather than clean. Use it as the first job of the wash, before you touch the paint, so the dirt you loosen gets rinsed away rather than dragged across the bodywork.

Straight from us
Alkaline is the right call for most people most of the time. Acid cleaners work faster but they punish you for a moment's inattention, and neutral iron removers are brilliant on embedded fallout but slow on ordinary grime. This sits between them. If your wheels are genuinely contaminated with bonded iron, reach for the Bloody Wheel Cleaner Gel instead — and if they are just dirty, this is quicker and cheaper.
What it won't do
It will not dissolve bonded iron particles or bleed purple — that is a different chemistry, and it is the Bloody Wheel Cleaner Gel's job. It will not restore corroded or lacquer-peeled wheels, and it is not a sealant, so nothing about it stops the dirt coming back.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe on my diamond-cut alloys?
SWAG state it is for painted wheels and for polished wheels protected with clear coat, and advise care around emblems. Diamond-cut faces rely on that lacquer being intact — if yours is pitting or lifting, do not use any chemical cleaner on it.
How long do I leave it on?
Up to five minutes, and never let it dry on the wheel. Work in the shade on cool wheels, not straight after a drive.
Do I still need a wheel brush?
Yes. SWAG's own method is rinse, apply, wait, rinse, reapply, then brush. The chemical does the softening, the brush does the lifting.
