Winter road film doesn't come off with snow foam alone. The grey haze on the lower doors, the grime packed behind the rear bumper and the salt crust on the sills need a proper traffic film remover before a mitt touches the paint. Stjärnagloss Först X is the concentrated version of Först, the citrus pre-cleaner: the same formula at double strength, so you mix it to suit the job.
Why it works
- Double strength: mix 50/50 with water and you have regular Först, so 1L makes 2L and 5L makes 10L
- Dilute further for lighter maintenance washes, or keep it strong for the worst of the winter
- Surfactants, solvent additives and natural orange oil break down traffic film, road grime and bug residue
- Sprayed on without aeration, so it does more cleaning on contact than a snow foam
- 1L bottle for the home garage, 5L drum for valeters and anyone who pre-washes every week
When to use it
The first step of a winter wash, before snow foam and shampoo. Concentrate it on the lower third of the car, the rear end, wheel arches and door shuts. Covering the whole car wastes product, because the roof and bonnet rarely need it.

Straight from us
This is the one to buy if you already get through regular Först. Mix it into a chemical-resistant trigger sprayer or pump sprayer, label the bottle with the ratio you used, and you are paying for half the water. On a cold morning give it a minute or two longer to work, but never let it dry on the panel.
What it won't do
It won't leave your wax or sealant untouched. A strong TFR at this strength will weaken most waxes and spray sealants, so plan to top up protection afterwards. It isn't a bug-and-tar remover for bonded tar spots either; that needs a solvent tar & glue remover.

How do I dilute Stjärnagloss Först X?

Can I use Först X on chrome?
No. Stjärnagloss state Först X should not be used on chrome wheels or chrome trim.
How long should I leave Först X on before rinsing?
Give it a few minutes to break down the grime, keep it wet, then rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer before it dries.
