Rapro Foam Cannon R-PRO

Snow foam is only as good as the lance putting it on the car. Pour a thick foam through a cheap cannon and it comes out as runny suds that slide off before they have done anything. The Rapro R-PRO is a proper foam cannon: it mixes concentrate, water and air under pressure into a dense blanket that stays on the panel long enough to work. This version is supplied with the Karcher K-Series fitting, so it clicks straight onto the bayonet of a domestic Karcher.

When to use it

At the start of every wash. Foam the car from the bottom up, let it dwell without drying, and rinse before the contact wash — the loose dirt leaves before a mitt goes near the paint.

Rinse it through with clean water for ten seconds after every use — foam left to dry in the mixing chamber is what kills cannons, not wear. Do that and this is a years-long purchase.

What it won't do

It will not work on a hosepipe — it needs a pressure washer to drive the mixing. This version fits Karcher K-Series machines; it is not the fitting for Nilfisk, Bosch or quick-release commercial machines.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my Karcher?
This fitting suits the standard Karcher K-Series bayonet used on domestic K machines. If your machine takes standard Karcher lances, this clicks on the same way.

How much snow foam do I put in the bottle?
Follow your foam's label — most concentrates want 30 to 50ml in the bottle topped up with warm water. Start lean and adjust the dial before adding more product.

Why is my foam watery?
Usually dilution or the dial. Richen the mix setting, use warm water, and check the inlet filter is clear — a proper concentrate like Magic Pink Foam should come out like shaving foam.
