When should I use a panel wipe?

Use Stripp-Ex after polishing and before applying any wax, sealant or ceramic coating. Removing polish oils and old product gives your protection a clean surface to bond to, which dramatically improves durability.

Will Stripp-Ex remove an existing ceramic coating?

It removes polish oils, glaze fillers, old waxes and temporary coatings. A fully cured professional ceramic coating needs machine abrasion to remove — Stripp-Ex is the prep step, not a coating stripper.

Is it safe on rubber and plastic trim?

Avoid prolonged contact with rubber and unpainted plastic trim, wipe any overspray away promptly, and always work in a well-ventilated area.

Directions

1. Wash and dry the vehicle first — Stripp-Ex is for clean, cool paint.
2. Spray onto a clean microfibre cloth (safer than spraying the panel directly) and wipe one panel at a time.
3. Flip to a dry side of the cloth and buff off any residue.
4. Apply your wax, sealant or coating straight after for maximum bonding. Avoid prolonged contact with rubber and plastic trim, and use in a well-ventilated area.
