California Scents Purple Punch Spillproof Can Air Freshener

A first car tends to carry everything: gym kit, takeaway bags, three mates on a Friday night. The California Scents Purple Punch Spillproof Can is a car air freshener with enough personality to keep up, a tangy blend of sour purple fruits with raspberry and a lemon sparkle. It is a solid fragrance-oil fibre pad in a small aluminium can with a vented lid.

Why it works

• Sour-sweet fruit with real character, not just sugar
• Rein it in with the vented lid on a long drive
• Up to 60 days of fragrance, according to California Scents
• Nothing to leak if it rolls under a seat
• No power, batteries or vent clips needed

When to use it

In a car that sees plenty of use and plenty of people: a younger driver's first car, or a weekend car that goes to meets and cruises.

Specification

Straight from us

Start with the vents almost closed. Tangy fruit scents fill a small cabin quickly, and it's easier to open the lid than to air the car out.

What it won't do

It won't suit every car. In a taxi, a lift-share or any car with lots of different passengers, a bold fruit scent can divide opinion. Ice is the safer choice there.
