California Scents Hollywood Glow Spillproof Can Air Freshener

Fruit and 'fresh' cover most car air fresheners, which leaves little for people who like a warmer smell. The California Scents Hollywood Glow Spillproof Can fills that gap with warm woods and hints of caramel and vanilla. It is a solid car air freshener, with fragrance-oil fibre pads in a small aluminium can and an adjustable lid.

Why it works

• Warm and woody, a change from fruit
• Adjustable lid for scent control
• Up to 60 days of fragrance, according to California Scents
• Sits upright in a cup holder or under a seat
• Spillproof: the fragrance is held in a solid pad

When to use it

When you spend time sitting in the car rather than driving it: waiting at the school gates, at training pick-ups or in a car park on your lunch break.

Straight from us

Try Hollywood Glow if you like Monterey Vanilla but find it a little sugary. The wood keeps the sweetness in check.

What it won't do

It won't feel fresh on a hot day. Warm, sweet scents can feel heavy in a closed car in summer, so turn the lid down in a heatwave or swap to Laguna Breeze for July and August.

Frequently asked questions

What does Hollywood Glow smell like?
California Scents Hollywood Glow smells of warm woods with caramel and vanilla. It's soft and warm rather than fruity or fresh.

Is Hollywood Glow a vanilla scent?
Hollywood Glow is partly a vanilla scent. Its vanilla and caramel sit on a warm wood base, so it's less sugary than a straight vanilla.

Can I use the Hollywood Glow can at home?
Yes, the Hollywood Glow can works at home. California Scents make it for rooms as well as cars, so a bathroom shelf or kitchen worktop is fine.
