The Pro is the one we'd buy ourselves. £99.99 against a minimum of £160 retail is the biggest gap of the three tiers — and eight items is enough to cover a full weekend detail, not just patch the gap where your snow foam used to be. The Starter is the better call as a first kit, or as a gift for someone just getting into it.

What it won't do

It won't let you pick the contents. If you need one specific product — a particular ceramic coating, the shampoo you always reach for — shop the full range instead of hoping it turns up in the box.

2. Order as normal. There is no contents list to choose from and no way to request specific products.
3. We pack the bundle by hand from current stock, checking the retail value clears the minimum for your tier before it is sealed.
4. Dispatched from Portadown with the rest of your order.
5. Open it, and use each product to its own instructions — every item is a full retail unit with its own label.
