5" Light Cut Polishing Pad (T60)

Perfect paint doesn't need aggression. The  5" T60 Light Cut Pad corrects fine swirl marks, hazing and mild oxidation while keeping heat, vibration and tool stress to a minimum. The T60 foam blend balances softness for gentle correction with enough firmness for an even polishing footprint — ideal for maintenance details and the refinement stage of a multi-step correction.

Which Pad Do I Need?

Use the Light Cut pad after heavier correction stages, or on its own for well-maintained paint that just needs swirls and haze refined before protection.

What polish should I pair it with?
A fine or medium polish. For final gloss, follow with the Finishing pad and an ultra-fine polish.

Yes — the reduced vibration and gentle foam blend make it a safe choice for delicate finishes.

Directions

1. Start with clean, dry, decontaminated paintwork and centre the pad on a 5" hook-and-loop backing plate.
2. Apply 3–4 pea-sized dots of a fine or medium polish to the pad face and dab it around the panel.
3. Spread at low speed, then polish in slow, overlapping passes at low-to-medium speed using only light pressure.
4. Wipe residue with a clean microfibre and check your progress under good lighting — fine swirls and haze should refine quickly.
5. Finish with the Finishing pad for show-level gloss, then wash the pad in warm water and let it dry fully before storing.
