Audi A4 B9 Front Lip

Fits the Audi A4 B9, 2015–2019 — S-Line bumper.

The S-Line bumper on the Audi A4 B9 stops short of where it should. This lip closes that gap: gloss black out of the box, fixed with tape and screws into the underside of the bumper, and nothing is cut.

Fitting it

Clean the bonding face with panel wipe — not polish, not a quick detailer. Dry fit the lip and check the gap at both ends before the backing paper comes off, because a bumper that has been off the car before rarely sits square.The screws hold the lip.

What it won't do

It is not aerodynamic. At this price nothing generates downforce and we are not going to pretend otherwise — this is a styling part.

It will not hide a damaged bumper. The lip sits below the bumper; a scuff above it still shows.

ABS is tough but it is not indestructible — a hard kerb strike will crack it rather than bend it.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Audi A4 B9 front lip need painting?
No. It is supplied in gloss black and goes straight on the car.

Do you have to drill the bumper to fit a front lip?
The screws go into the plastic underside of the bumper, never into bodywork or paint, and they are hidden behind the lip once it is on. Tape alone will not survive a wet motorway, so both fixings are used.

Will it survive speed bumps?
On a standard-height Audi A4 B9, yes. On coilovers at fully dropped it will make contact — approach at an angle.
