Audi A3 8V S3 Rear Cap Spoiler

Fits the Audi A3 8V S3, 2012–2019 — S3 / S-Line hatch. Not the A3 8Y — different mouldings, listed separately below.

A cap spoiler for the Audi A3 8V S3 — it sits over the top edge of the factory hatch spoiler and extends it, rather than replacing it. Gloss black out of the box, tape-fit, nothing removed from the car.

Fitting it

Clean the factory spoiler with panel wipe. Dry fit and check it sits flush along the whole edge before the backing paper comes off. Warm both surfaces, press firmly, leave 24 hours.

What it won't do

It does not replace the factory spoiler — it needs the factory spoiler there to sit on.

It is not aerodynamic.

ABS is tough but it is not indestructible — a hard kerb strike will crack it rather than bend it.
