Ther Leather Cleaning Brush

Leather cleaner sitting on top of the hide doesn't clean anything. The dirt is down in the grain and in the perforations, and it takes agitation to lift it — but too much bristle and you'll scuff the topcoat that stops the seat cracking in five years. Ther runs a mixed-bristle head that's firm enough to work and soft enough to be safe.

When to use it

Every leather clean. Apply cleaner to the brush rather than the seat, work in small circles, then lift the residue with a Lea cloth.

What it won't do

It isn't a drill brush — ADBL's Twister range covers that. And go carefully on Alcantara, which prefers a dedicated textile brush.
