Spray a normal tar remover on a sill and watch most of it end up on your driveway. This one is thixotropic — a gel that grips where you put it and stays wet for as long as you need, which on heavy asphalt spotting can be hours. Natural citrus oils do the work, so it smells of oranges rather than white spirit.
