Foamburger Foam Wax Applicator

The most common wax mistake is putting too much on. It costs more, it is harder to buff off and it does not protect any better. A foam applicator fixes that by metering the product: load the Foamburger once, and a 9cm round pad spreads a paste wax or a dressing into a thin, even film that comes off cleanly. It is the same shape as the pads professionals have used for decades, at a price that lets you keep one per product.

For tyre dressing, the Foamburger is the better applicator; for wax and sealant on paint we lean towards the microfibre-faced Tickler, which glides more and drops less. Buy one of each and you are covered.

What it won't do

It will not survive solvents. Tar remover and panel wipe break foam down, so keep it to waxes, sealants and dressings. It is also a hand pad, not a machine pad.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the Foamburger for tyre dressing?
Yes — it is ideal for it. Keep that pad for tyres only so silicone never ends up on the paint.

How much wax do I put on the pad?
A few small dabs, then spread thin. If the pad is dripping you have far too much.

Can I wash and reuse it?
Yes for waxes and dressings — rinse in warm water with a little shampoo and air dry. A dressing pad is usually better thrown away once it is loaded.
