Detailing Swabs Foam Tip 4 Pack

Every car has half a dozen places that are too narrow for a detailing brush and too deep for a cloth: the slats of an air vent, the edge of a badge, the groove around a start button, the seam where the screen meets the dash. Detailing Swabs are the answer to those. Four foam-tipped sticks in different head shapes — pointed, flat and rounded — that carry a drop of cleaner into the gap and bring the dust back out with it.

Dip the swab in the cleaner rather than spraying the dash — you use a fraction of the product and nothing ends up on the screen. Between these and the Smooth Operator brush, the vents are finally done.

What it won't do

They will not scrub — the foam is soft and will tear on rough plastic or a sharp edge. For ground-in grime on textured plastic use a Magic Sponge; for large areas use a brush.

What are detailing swabs used for?
Cleaning the narrow gaps a brush cannot reach: air vent slats, seams, switch gaps, badge outlines and cup holder ribs.

Are they reusable?
Yes for light dusting — rinse the head and let it dry. Once the foam is loaded with grime or torn, replace it.

Can I use them with any cleaner?
Water-based interior cleaners and quick detailers are fine. Avoid solvents such as tar remover, which break the foam down.
