Leather does not want the same cloth as your dashboard. Silicone trim dressing left on a cloth transfers straight onto hide, leaves it slippery and blocks whatever leather product you apply next. Pink marks the cloth as soft-trim only: leather seats, steering wheels, gear gaiters and fabric upholstery.

How to use it

Work leather cleaner in with a brush, then lift the lifted dirt off with the cloth — the cloth removes, the brush agitates. Use a second, dry cloth for the conditioner pass.

Care

Machine wash at 40°C with a microfibre-safe detergent, no fabric softener. Keep leather cloths in their own wash so conditioner residue does not build up.

Directions

1. Wash new cloths before first use to remove manufacturing residue and lift the pile.
2. Colour-code by job - keep one colour for paint, another for glass, another for wheels and interiors.
3. Use dry for buffing, or lightly damp for cleaning, and fold into quarters so you have eight clean faces to work through.
4. Turn to a fresh face as soon as one loads up with dirt.
5. Never reuse a cloth that has been dropped on the ground until it has been washed.

Machine wash at 30-40C with microfibre detergent. No fabric softener, no bleach, and do not wash with cotton items. Air dry or tumble dry on low.
