Buffing off cured wax or sealant is where a cloth actually earns its keep. Product loads the pile fast, and a loaded cloth stops lifting residue and starts pushing it around — which is why so many people think their wax has "smeared". Orange is the cloth you keep purely for that job.

How to use it

Let the product cure to the manufacturer's timing, then buff with almost no pressure using a folded face. If it feels like it is dragging, you have loaded that face — turn the cloth rather than pressing harder.

Care

Machine wash at 40°C with a microfibre-safe detergent, no fabric softener. Wax-loaded cloths wash better on their own; mixed in with dirty cloths they hold onto residue.

One cloth per car is optimistic. Two orange cloths for a full wax — one for the removal pass, one for the final wipe — is what gets you a clean finish.

Directions

1. Wash new cloths before first use to remove manufacturing residue and lift the pile.
2. Colour-code by job - keep one colour for paint, another for glass, another for wheels and interiors.
3. Use dry for buffing, or lightly damp for cleaning, and fold into quarters so you have eight clean faces to work through.
4. Turn to a fresh face as soon as one loads up with dirt.
5. Never reuse a cloth that has been dropped on the ground until it has been washed.

Machine wash at 30-40C with microfibre detergent. No fabric softener, no bleach, and do not wash with cotton items. Air dry or tumble dry on low.
