The Koch Chemie Fine Cut Foam Pad bridges the gap between correction and finishing. Its medium-abrasive foam removes moderate weathering and fine scratches while refining the surface as it works — ideal for paintwork that needs more than a glaze but less than a heavy compound.

Choose Your Size

Available in 3" (76mm) for spot corrections and tight areas, 5" (126mm) for all-round panel work, and 6" (150mm) for larger panels. Match the pad to your backing plate for best results.

Directions

1. Wash, decontaminate and fully dry the paintwork before polishing.

2. Attach the pad centrally to a matching backing plate on your machine polisher.

3. Apply 3–4 pea-sized dots of Koch Chemie F6 Fine Cut Compound to the pad face.

4. Spread at low speed, then work a small section with slow, overlapping passes and light-to-moderate pressure.

5. Ease off the pressure on final passes to refine the surface as you finish.

6. Wipe off residue with a clean microfibre cloth and inspect under good light.

7. Clean the pad after use and allow it to dry fully before storing.
