Nearly every swirl mark blamed on a wash mitt was actually put there by a cloth that had been round a wheel arch an hour earlier. Once every cloth in the bag looks the same, you have no way of knowing which one that is. The MICRO X 350 arrives in mixed colours so you can assign a colour to a job on day one and stop guessing.

Why it works

  • Mixed colours — colour-code paint, glass, interior and wheels and keep them apart for good
  • 350 GSM weave: soft enough for paint, dense enough to hold onto what it lifts
  • Edgeless — no stitched border to catch on trim or leave a line on a coated panel
  • 40 x 40cm — the size most detailers reach for, and it folds into eight working faces
  • Eight in the pack — enough to run a full detail without reaching for a dirty cloth
  • Lint-free and streak-free on paint, glass, plastics and interior trim

When to use it

This is the everyday cloth. Buffing off quick detailer and sealant, interior wipe-downs, glass and mirrors, door shuts, engine bays and general workshop duty.

Care

Machine wash at 40°C with a dedicated microfibre detergent. No fabric softener and no high-heat tumble drying — both clog the fibres and destroy absorbency. Wash paint cloths separately from wheel and engine-bay cloths.

Straight from us

Set the colour-to-job map on the day the pack arrives, and keep the wheel and door-shut cloths in a different bag from the paint ones. Colour-coding does not fail on the car — it fails at the wash basket.

What it won't do

At 350 GSM this is not a drying towel, and it is not the plush finishing cloth you want on a freshly polished panel. It is the workhorse of the kit. For the final buff on paint, step up to a 400 GSM dual pile cloth.

Frequently asked questions

How many cloths are in the pack?
Eight, in mixed colours. The exact colours vary by batch — the weave and the weight do not.

Are they genuinely edgeless?
Yes. There is no stitched border on any edge, so there is nothing hard to drag across a panel or catch on trim.

Can I use them on glass?
Yes. Clean with one cloth, buff dry with a second — trying to do both with one is what leaves streaks.

350 or 400 GSM — which do I want?
350 for everything: interiors, glass, general wipe-downs and buffing off quick detailer. 400 dual pile for the finishing pass on paint, where the extra plush matters.

Directions

1. Assign a colour to a job before the first use — for example paint, glass, interior, wheels — and keep to it. This is the whole point of a mixed pack.

2. Fold the cloth into quarters. That gives you eight clean working faces per cloth.

3. Spray your product onto the cloth rather than the panel. Spraying the surface directly puts product into vents, screens and switch gaps.

4. Wipe in straight, overlapping strokes with light pressure, turning to a fresh face as each one loads up.

5. On glass, clean with one cloth and buff dry with a second — one cloth for both is what leaves streaks.

6. Never take a paint cloth to a dusty panel. Rinse the car first; a dry wipe over grit is a scratch.

7. Machine wash at 40°C with a microfibre detergent. No fabric softener, no high-heat tumble drying. Wash wheel and engine-bay cloths separately from paint cloths.
