A sponge holds more solution than a mitt and gives you more control on flat panels — the argument against them was always the risk of trapping grit. Mr Sponge answers that with a waffle face that channels debris away from the paint and a fine, soft open-cell foam that holds a serious amount of shampoo. Smooth face on the other side if you prefer it.
