Carpet dirt isn't on the surface, it's woven into it, and the only way it comes out is agitation. The problem is that most brushes soften or shed the first time they meet a strong APC. These bristles are synthetic and chemical-resistant, stiff enough for ground-in boot carpet and mats, and light enough that a full interior doesn't wreck your wrist.

What it won't do
It's too stiff for Alcantara or headlining — use a soft interior brush for those.
