Wax Applicator Pad

The difference between a wax that lasts and a wax that streaks is usually how thin it went on, and that is the applicator's job. Tenzi's round wax applicator is a soft foam pad sized to the hand for spreading paste, hard and milk-consistency waxes in a thin, even coat without dragging grit across the paint.

When to use it

Every time you wax by hand, and for liquid sealants, glazes and tyre dressings where you want control over how much goes on. A dedicated pad for tyres and a dedicated pad for paint is the simplest rule.

Buy two. One for wax, one for tyre dressing, and never let them meet. Dampen the pad very slightly before a paste wax and it loads more evenly. Pair it with the Tenzi Carnauba Wax or any of the waxes in our wax collection.

What it won't do

It is not a polishing pad — it will not remove swirls or work with a machine. Once the foam starts to break up or hold old product, replace it rather than risk marring the paint.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use it for tyre dressing?
Yes, but keep that pad for tyres only. Dressing residue on a pad will smear onto paintwork next time you wax.

How do I clean it?
Rinse in warm water with a little car shampoo, squeeze out and leave to air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Is it safe on ceramic-coated paint?
Yes. The foam is soft and safe on all paintwork when used clean; it is the grit in a dirty pad that scratches, not the pad itself.
