Fits the Seat Leon Mk3, 2012 onwards — standard and FR rear bumper. Not the Leon Mk4 — different bumper.
The rear corners of the Seat Leon Mk3 bumper are plain, and from behind the car looks narrower than it is. This rear bumper flaps square off the corners and widen the rear: gloss black out of the box, taped and screwed to the underside of the bumper, and nothing is cut.
About the rear bumper flaps
A pair of rear bumper flaps in Blade Autostyling's Aero V1 design that fit to the lower outer corners of the rear bumper, one each side. It is vacuum-formed plastic, which keeps the part light and lets it flex over a knock rather than crack.
It arrives in gloss black with the protective film still on, ready to go on the car. Once fitted the rear looks wider and the bumper corners look finished.

Fitting it
Clean the bumper corner with panel wipe. Dry fit each flap and mark its position with masking tape before the backing paper comes off. Warm both surfaces, press firmly, then add the screws into the plastic underside of the bumper. Leave it 24 hours before a jet wash.
Delivery, fitting and returns
Delivery is £20 to any UK or Ireland address, on every body kit part. Or have it fitted at Blade Performance in Portadown for an extra £20 — supplied and fitted the same day, and we warrant the fit. Check the flaps against the car before the protective film comes off, and let us know about any transit damage within 48 hours of delivery.
What it won't do
They do not replace the bumper or the diffuser — they add to the corners of what is already there.
They will not hide a scuffed bumper corner; the flap sits below it.
It is not injection-moulded ABS. Vacuum-formed plastic is lighter and more forgiving on impact, but it is thinner, and it is not a structural part.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Seat Leon Mk3 rear bumper flaps need painting?
No. It is supplied in gloss black and goes straight on the car.
Does it need drilling?
Tape holds the alignment and screws into the plastic underside of the bumper hold it for good. Nothing goes into bodywork or paint.
Can I jet wash them?
Yes, once the tape has had 24 hours to cure.
Can I collect it or have it fitted?
Yes. Collect from the shop in Portadown, or book it in and we fit it while you wait.
