Glaco DX – Hydrophobic Glass Coating & Rain Repellent

Japan's favourite rain repellent, on your windscreen. Glaco DX coats your glass with an invisible hydrophobic barrier that makes rain bead up and fly off as you drive — often before the wipers even get involved. Clearer vision, safer driving, and around four months of performance per application.

Grime, bugs and ice struggle to bond to the coated surface too, so your glass stays cleaner for longer and winter mornings get noticeably less painful.

How long does Glaco DX last?

Around 4 months per application in normal use. For up to 12 months of protection, step up to Glaco Ultra.

Do I need to prep the glass first?

Yes — clean, oil-free glass is essential for bonding. Use Glaco Glass Compound to strip oil film and old coatings, dry fully, then apply.

Is it safe to use with wipers?

Absolutely — once cured it works with your wipers, and at higher speeds you'll often barely need them at all.

Rain will still fall. It just won't hang around.

Directions

1. Clean the glass thoroughly first — use Glaco Glass Compound to remove any oil film — and make sure it's completely dry.
2. Apply evenly over the exterior glass with the applicator, using overlapping strokes.
3. Allow to dry to a haze, then buff off with a clean, dry cloth.
4. Let it cure fully before exposing to rain (ideally several hours). Reapply every few months to keep the water flying off.
