Detailing brushes are usually too small for the job that takes the longest: the dashboard, the door cards, the face of a wheel, the plastics in an engine bay. Fresso Detailing Brush No. 16 is the 30mm head in the Fresso set, big enough to agitate a whole door card in a couple of minutes while the soft synthetic bristles keep it safe on textured plastic, leather and lacquered alloys.

Why it works

  • 30mm head covers dashboards, door cards and wheel faces quickly
  • Soft synthetic bristles, published by Fresso as safe for precise cleaning of details
  • Holds enough cleaner to work a large area without re-spraying
  • Rinses clean and dries fast — synthetic fibres do not hold water like natural hair
  • Part of a three-size set with the 17mm No. 8 and 24mm No. 12

When to use it

Dashboards and door cards with an interior cleaner, wheel faces and calipers with a wheel cleaner, engine bay plastics with a degreaser, and along sills and lower bumpers after a snow foam. The big-area brush in the set.

Straight from us

This is the one we use on wheel faces with a wheel cleaner dwelling: it moves the product round the spokes and into the caliper without the scratching risk of a stiff brush. Keep a second one for the interior and never mix them up.

What it won't do

It will not get into vents, switch recesses or lug nut holes — those are the 17mm No. 8 — and it is not long enough to reach the inner barrel of a wheel, which is the Fresso Wheel Brush Pro's job.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe on alloy wheels?
Yes. The soft synthetic bristles are published as safe for precise cleaning, and they will not mark lacquered or powder-coated alloys when the brush is rinsed clean before use.

Can I use it with strong wheel cleaners or degreasers?
Yes. Fresso do not publish a chemical resistance rating, so rinse the brush thoroughly straight after use rather than leaving product in the bristles.

Which size do I need?
No. 8 (17mm) for vents, badges and switchgear; No. 12 (24mm) for general interior and trim; No. 16 (30mm) for larger areas like door cards and wheel faces.
