Clean the underside of the bumper with panel wipe. Offer the splitter up with the car on ramps or axle stands and check the gap at both ends before anything is drilled — a bumper that has been off the car before rarely sits square. Centre it with masking tape, pilot-drill through the splitter into the plastic underside of the bumper, and run the screws in from the centre outwards.
